A haunting social media post by a female police detective from the renowned all-female Bulawayo police detective unit, Team Lozikeyi, has left many wondering if she predicted her own death.
Detective Casandra, who was shot and killed during a shootout with armed robbers on Thursday night, shared a seemingly lighthearted post on Facebook just hours before her death.
In her final post, Casandra joked about her encounter with an angel on judgment day, writing: “Usandipusha, ndofamba ndega… Ndini zvangu ndichiudza ngirozi musi we judgement day”
Translated, her post reads: “Don’t push me, I’ll walk on my own… I’ll tell the angel myself on judgment day”
When asked about the post, a colleague of Detective Casandra said: “We never thought much of it at the time, but now it’s giving us chills. It’s as if she knew something we didn’t.”
Social media users have been reacting to the post, with many speculating whether Detective Casandra unknowingly foretold her own death.
“It’s eerie how she mentioned judgment day,” said one user. “RIP, Detective Casandra. Your bravery will never be forgotten.”
Another user added: “This is so chilling. May her soul rest in peace.”
