Three notorious criminals who had terrorized Masvingo residents and business owners with a spree of armed robberies have been sentenced to a combined 345 years in prison.

The offenders, Clever Svuure (28), Vusumuzi Bhebhe (25), and Yasin Joseph (21), were apprehended by Masvingo police after investigators linked them to a robbery that took place in the early hours of January 15, 2025.

The trio was involved in a shocking string of 14 armed robberies carried out in a single day.

At their recent court appearance at the Masvingo Regional Magistrate Court, Svuure was sentenced to 95 years, while both Bhebhe and Joseph received 125 years each for their involvement in the crimes.
