A leading UK based charity organisation, Pens for Kids UK has donated donated stationary items to underprivileged children in Zimbabwe.
At least 128 000 pens, pencils and other education items have already been boxed up waiting to be shipped to Zimbabwe for some of the country’s under- privileged school institutions.
Speaking on the occasion of the donation at the weekend, ROHR Zimbabwe UK coordinator Mr. Paradzai Mapfumo told ZimEye the items are destined for several institutions including Mbuya Nehanda Children’s Home, Chinamano Primary School and some schools in Glen View South.
“We are still identifying needy benefiaries in all provinces both Rural and Urban,” said Mapfumo.

How can you ship pens to Zimbabwe. Eversharp and other companies are there and we are destroying them and more people out of work. Rather contract these companies and have your labels on the pens which is way cheaper. Donors and those sourcing donations need to change MO
