The State argues it is not ready to announce the trial date.

Today (Monday) I appeared once again in court anticipating to be furnished with a trial date.

From 0830 to 12pm, I waited together with my lawyer Charles Kwaramba as the state played delay games.

When we finally appeared the State unsurprisingly failed to furnish us with a trial date, saying they were not ready. Of course they are not ready to do anything related to just application of the law.

They’re only ready to pile cases on our heads with no intention to proceed to trial.

In the face of this persecution, we remain committed to fight for a just society where the law will be used to pursue justice not persecute citizens. WE SHALL OVERCOME
