By James Gwati- President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed his former Zanu PF political commissar, Victor Matemadanda the new Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Mozambique.

The outspoken politician replaces the late army general Douglas Nyikayaramba who succumbed to COVID-19 recently.

There is a strong suspicion that Matemadanda was removed from the party’s commiserate office because he was fighting with President Mnangagwa’s Godfather July Moyo
