By James Gwati- Zanu PF has defended the dismissal from the government of the party’s political commissar, Victor Matemadanda.

Matemadanda was fired from his government post of deputizing Oppah Muchinguri in the Defence Ministry.

He was also relieved of his political party’s commissar duties.

Zanu PF secretary for administration Obert Mpofu told state media that Matemadanda was not fired, had been reassigned to Mozambique where he will be the country’s envoy in that country.

Matemadanda was removed from the party’s commiserate office because he was fighting with President Mnangagwa’s Godfather July Moyo
