By A Correspondent | In a major success story, a UK based self confessed Zimbabwean Witch’s charms have flopped dismally following a ZimEye 3 year investigation into her frauds.
‘Muchembere Soko’ (real name Fungai Maruta) as she titles herself has lost her battle to steal GBP32,000 from victims who she has been threatening with witchcraft since 2017.
In 2018, ZimEye launched an investigation which resulted in a High Court Case in Birmingham where ZimEye thoroughly floored her without a lawyer at the side.
Muchembere Soko was running the Madzimai Akatendeka funeral scheme which she however turned into a religious cult, bringing all members into total spiritual subjugation. ZimEye had to conduct several liberation clinics because victims would not speak due to fear.
Following the court verdict in July 2018, Maruta who has also duped Zimbabweans in South Africa, tried would try once again to withdraw the funds from the bank account.
After a 3-year waiting period today, ZimEye can reveal clients are now to receive their refunds.
