Farai Dziva| There is a possibility that Patson Dzamara was harmed, President Nelson Chamisa has said.

The MDC Alliance leader has also revealed that during his tenure as a Cabinet Minister he never took food offered to him by the State for fear of being harmed.

President Chamisa made the remarks while addressing mourners at the Dzamara family home in Glen View on Thursday.

He also said he warned the late former Prime Minister, Right Honourable Morgan Richard Tsvangirai against “drinking Zanu PF tea.”

“I spent five years in Cabinet but never drank tea there until Mugabe asked me who had told me he was a witch.

I even avoided the 9 am tea-break and told (Tendai) Biti and Prime Minister Tsvangirai what they were doing was dangerous.

Tsvangirai would laugh it off, saying I would die of hunger but I knew these people,” said President Chamisa.

“Some people might say it was just cancer but no. I have even told Hopewell Chin’ono and Job Sikhala not to eat any of the prison food but to stay strong no matter what because they will die if they consume that food,” he added.
