By Own Correspondent- Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has revealed that he has no qualms congratulating anyone who emerges winner in the upcoming party’s National Elective Congress slated for May 24- 25.

Chamisa said contrary to circulating sentiments which are especially coming from Zanu Pf, the MDC is not heading for a split but the party is set to emerge stronger as it is going to democratically come up with fresh, renewed and competence leader.

Chamisa said this while addressing journalists at Morgan Tsvangirai House (Wednesday) shortly after holding the National Standing Committee meeting.

Said Chamisa:

“I will be the first one to congratulate anyone who emerges the winner in the upcoming congress…..The upcoming 5th Congress is a turning point for the MDC, we are moving to another level.

We have a platform to set a new culture, new infrastructure, new systems, new ideas, new tactics and strategies. While defining a new course for Zimbabwe!”
