Farai Dziva| Faded Harare giants Dynamos FC have sealed a new sponsorship deal with Gold Leaf Tobacco.

The Glamour Boys’ one-year sponsorship deal with telecoms giant NetOne expired at the end of last year.

But Gold Leaf Tobacco is expected to be the principal sponsor through their Rudland and George cigarette brand.

The deal comes at a time the Harare giants are struggling to clear outstanding monies owed to current and former players.

Dembare have signed several new players including foreign nationals and will need to clear all the signing-on-fees to avoid a repeat of what happened last year.

The previous season was rocked by numerous player strikes, and the likes of former captain Ocean Mushure and Cameroon international Christian Epoupa even took the club to the courts in a bid to get their dues.
