Farai Dziva|Some retailers in the city of Masvingo have hiked the price of bread to $ 3 way above the recommended retail price.

The retailers argue that leading bread supplier Bakers Inn has hiked the price of the basic commodity.

In a letter addressed to one Terrance Yeatman, the managing director of Spar, Baker’s Inn said a standard loaf of bread (all variants per unit) will cost $2.45 wholesale delivery price while the recommended retail price is $2.70.
