By Own Correspondent|Harare Mayor Hebert Gomba has confirmed that council is consulting and proposing to name one of the roads in Harare or Harare gardens after the late national hero Oliver Mtukudzi.

Said Mayor Gomba:

It’s true city of Harare councilors are in consultation with management to name one of the road or Harare gardens as Mtukudzi st or Mtukudzi gardens….please note beyond this your council intends to honor other legends such as Thomas Mapfumo, George Shaya and Zex Manatsa

When I went to pay my and our council’s condolences to the family, I personally told Amai Daisy about our intentions,
