Harare Mayor, Councillor Herbert Gomba has revealed that his council is currently debating a decision to name Harare Gardens after the late music superstar and icon Dr Oliver Mtukudzi.

Posting on Twitter, Gomba said;
Harare city councilors in serious discussions to name Harare gardens to Oliver Mtukudzi gardens, 3rd street to Morgan Tsvangirai street , what are your views as residents?

Commenting on Tweet, Zimbabweans suggested that the popular outing place be named Tuku Gardens.

“Sounds dope too I like it better than my version lol, it’s African and distinctive…Tuku gardens.” said one Twitter user Ntate Nare.
