Terrence Mawawa, Buhera| A self styled prophet who inserted his manhood into a minor’s private parts under the guise of exorcising demons, was last week dragged to court for the offence.

Victor Chiminya(33), appeared before Magistrate Livingstone Chipadza facing rape charges.

He allegedly raped the minor on two different occasions.

Chiminya is a self confessed prophet at Sangano RaJehova Apostolic Church.

The 15- year- old girl was doing Form Two at Ndongwe Secondary School at the time she was raped.

According to facts of the State Case, Chiminya went to the place where the minor stayed with her guardians and claimed she was being tormented by demons.

He further said the demons would be exorcised through sexual intercourse. He then raped her. The incident happened on March 12, 2017.

On May 14, 2017, Chiminya raped the minor at Chimanye Homestead where he was conducting healing sessions.

Chiminya however accused his detractors of framing him.

Trial will continue next week.
