By Shiellah Sibanda| One of the men behind the BusStop TV says he today filmed a group of protesters who were searching for military police officers and during the process they assaulted a man they suspected to be connected to the military.

Writes Luckie Aaroni, “I shot this video at a demo in town today.

“The protestors were walking around town in search of the military police, municipal police and Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) who are running a joint operation to remove or relocate vendors from the central business district.

“The guy being assaulted asked the protestors if they were genuine vendors or were just looking for trouble with the authorities. That question invited trouble for him.”

  1. Army and “genuine” police not (Chihuri mafia operatives) must act decisively on this, people must respect human life and not venting out pressure on innocent citizens. People must resist a system not attack fellow sufferers. To the victim, I say sometimes “fear is courage” Get well soon my brother.

  2. That does it! Police should arrest all those involved in that heinous crime. Its time to clear the city centre of all vendors and touts. They should go and sell their wares in the areas that were designated by council. Lets say NO to lawlessness.
