Zimbabwe is still seen as a political volatile nation because of the political chaos that has always been the hallmark of our politics. President Mnangagwa can talk about growing the economy until he is blue in the face he will still struggle to attract foreign investors because until we fix our political system to guarantee free and fair elections the nation will continue to be seen as unstable.
If President Mnangagwa fails to hold free and fair elections next year then SADC leaders must dismiss the process as a sham or risk having another coup in Zimbabwe. If the people cannot get rid of their tyrant because he rigs elections then they will be pleased to see the tyrant booted out at gun-point just as we witnessed happen three weeks ago!
