Dear Editor,

Some scorners claim that there is a tribal agenda in the articles which name the new Chief Justice Luke Malaba as a Ndebele. This issue started way back in December and perhaps most hawawerengi news.

But they forget that the tribal distinction was exhibited by Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa who fought tooth and nail attempting to block Justice Malaba from the job on tribal grounds. Analysts weighed in on those observations. More details are there in 3 articles widely published in the several months running up today.  Chief Justice Malaba is of a truth a Ndebele contrary to assertions by critics.

Vice President Mnangagwa was of a truth working to block Justice Malaba’s appointment and added to comments by analysts, he was fighting on two fronts, tribal and factional. Analysts say the first motivation was stronger the tribal thorn stemming from the long standing prominent flame of all Matebele relational issues with Harare. The issue is so real that even Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko has voiced saying with Mnangagwa at the helm there will be unending tribal war in Zimbabwe.

  1. You are an idiot you Royal Mthwakazi. Why cant you eliminate yourself whom do you want to do your idiotic dirty work Nxaaaaa *D*t*

  2. Thats a lie Mnangagwa never fight Malaba but he was just doing his job according to Mugabe’s instructions. Those who know Mugabe knows that he is very good in playing dirty sticks kuda kusvibisa munhu. Mnangagwa cant have the POWERS to change the Constitution without Mugabe’s consent. So plse leave Ngwena Alone. ZIMEYE musango hukura zvamusingazive. We know you hate Ngwena but that will NOT move Mnangagwa igomo riya.

  3. Thank you mwenje for saying it as it is.the problem is that there are quite a number of tribalistic idiotic ndebeles who post on these discussions.why should everything mnangagwa does be linked to tribalism.even when mnangagwa coughs jonathan moyo will come up guns blazing accusing mnangagwa of making a tribal cough against ndebeles.these guys have names like royal mthwakazi.what the hell is that.i always tell them that if you feel you do not want to live with the shonas then go back to mtwakazi or wherever the hell they came from.what does mnangagwas selection of whoever he feels will advance his interests have anything to do with tribalism.stupid story

  4. Stop seeing tribal shadows everywhere…what kind of gutter journalism is this? Firstly, let it be known that then DCJ Malaba was not entitled to the CJ post; Mugabe could have choosen anyone amongst the recommended nominees. Thus, he could also have appointed Makarau or Garwe. Therefore its absurd to insinuate that Mnangagwa wanted to block Malaba’s rise, as if the latter had title deeds or divine rights to his appointment. Secondly, Mnangagwa was only vouching for the candidate (Chiweshe) he felt would advance his political interests. So political interests were at play, not tribalism as is insinuated by this lunatic journalist and idiotic website. In the same vein, the G40 felt that their political interests could be best served by Makarau as CJ and Jonathan Moyo, the G40 chief proganist himself is Ndebele. Malaba earned distrust of both factions because of his professionalism and impartiality. Thus, he could not be trusted to advance factional interests! For your own information, the chief protagonist for the Lacoste faction and Mnangagwa’s trusted right-hand man, July Moyo, is Ndebele. So is Owen Kana Ncube. Therefore if either Owen Ncube or July Moyo were one of the nominees, Mnangagwa would have supported and encouraged their appointment to the CJ post, regardless of them being Ndebeles. So it’s interests not tribalism, stupid!

  5. Eliminate Mnangagwa once and for all – permanently that is. He is both a cancer and danger to the future of the country!!
