Opposition political parties are regrouping and have come to a consensus that MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai will be their candidate in the 2018 elections. The main challenge still remains unless there are credible reforms and mass mobilisation of Zimbabweans to defend their vote Zimbabwe might just be back to 2013 again.

It is a double edged sword if the main opposition boycotts, surrogate parties will go ahead and legitimise Mugabe’s victory. Should the opposition therefore agree to  National Transitional Authority that will deal with issues around electoral reforms, security forces and ensure a legitimate election?
