Harare Mayor Councillor Bernard Manyenyeni is currently at the Prosecutor General’s Office accompanied by lawyer Professor Lovemore Madhuku for a scheduled appearance at Harare Magistrates Court (Rotten Row) at 10 AM today, ZimEye.com is told.
Councillor Manyenyeni who was arrested on Wednesday 30 June 2016, was charged with criminal abuse of duty as public officer in contravention of Section 174 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act, the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights said.

Councillor Manyenyeni who was arrested on Wednesday 30 June 2016 and has endured two nights in police cells, was charged with contravening Section 174 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act.
