By Crime and Courts Reporter-Several people are feared dead after a commuter omnibus collided head-on with a haulage truck in Dzivaresekwa early Wednesday morning.

According to initial reports, the kombi was heading towards Harare’s Central Business District (CBD) when it crashed into a truck travelling in the opposite direction along Bulawayo Road near the Dzivaresekwa turn-off.

Police have yet to confirm the accident or provide details on casualties.

“An early morning collision between a commuter omnibus and a haulage truck along Bulawayo Road has resulted in multiple deaths and serious injuries,” an eyewitness told ZimEye.
