On behalf of Varakashi4ED Mashonaland West under the leadership of Varakashi4ED new Chairman Cde Godwin Nkatha applaud the decision that was taken by Cde Chinamasa following a meeting with President Mnangagwa on February 3, 2025 to dismiss the “rogue elements” of the Varakashi4ED for attacking the unit’s leadership and senior Zanupf party officials.

This strategic move will go a long way to enforce discipline within the Unit as well as maintaining loyalty to H.E the President of Zimbabwe Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa and the Party Zanupf.

As Varakashi4ED Mash West we will continue to defend H.E the President of Zimbabwe Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa as well as supporting all the party’s resolutions including resolution Number 1., that is meant to extend President Mnangagwa term past 2028.
However, it’s very unfortunate that the “old” leadership, in a desperate attempt to go without a fight, are insulting the new Varakashi4ED leadership, writing acres of falsehoods on social media, with one calling the Zanupf leadership “80 year old tired dinosaurs” something that is not expected from mwana we musangano we Zanupf.
The truth is the new Varakashi4ED leadership is loyal to the President, the Party Zanupf the country, and it support all Zanupf resolution including Resolution Number 1. Any information, from the “rogue elements” , that is short of that should be dismissed with the contempt it deserves.
The dismissed “rogue elements should bear in mind that discipline is a foundational element for the success, stability, and growth of any organization Varakashi4ED included thus undisciplined behavior—such as attacking senior party leaders—disrupts this alignment, threatening the party’s efficiency in promoting its agenda.
