Zanu PF activist Thokozo Sibanda, widely known as DJ Natty Cure, has publicly accused the party of abandoning him after he was injured while performing duties for them.

In a recent interview with The Mirror newspaper, the DJ revealed the painful reality of being neglected after an accident he suffered during the 2023 election campaign.

Thokozo, who was an active and vibrant figure during the run-up to the 2023 elections, claims that Zanu PF took advantage of his enthusiasm and energy but failed to offer any assistance when he needed it most.

According to him, the accident occurred while he was travelling to perform at a party event, and he has since been left to fend for himself.

“I was injured while travelling to a party programme but nobody has bothered to assist me,” Thokozo said, expressing his frustration and disappointment with the party he once supported. “I have tried to reach out to Minister Chadzamira’s office but nothing has worked so far.”

The DJ’s allegations shed light on the lack of support for party members who work tirelessly for the party’s cause but are left unsupported when they face personal challenges. Thokozo’s painful experience has left him feeling used and discarded, with no one stepping forward to provide the necessary assistance.

As the situation continues to unfold, many are left questioning the true nature of the party’s loyalty to its supporters and the treatment of its activists after they have given their all for the cause.
