Zimbabwean soccer fans will have to travel to South Africa to watch the Warriors play Benin in their Group C World Cup qualifier next month.

The match will be held at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) announced that the stadium was chosen after Polokwane, the initial venue, was allocated to Bafana Bafana. Other stadiums in Johannesburg and Cape Town were unavailable due to prior commitments.

According to ZIFA, the Moses Mabhida Stadium offers ideal conditions for the Warriors’ playing style. The association is urging Zimbabwean fans to attend the match in large numbers and support the team in their quest for World Cup qualification.
