Three notorious criminals who had wreaked havoc on Masvingo residents and business owners through a series of armed robberies have been sentenced to a total of 345 years in prison.

Clever Svuure (28), Vusumuzi Bhebhe (25), and Yasin Joseph (21) were arrested by Masvingo police after investigators traced them to a robbery that occurred in the early hours of January 15, 2025.

The trio had been behind a shocking series of 14 armed robberies carried out in a single day, terrorizing the community.

At their recent court appearance in the Masvingo Regional Magistrate Court, Svuure was handed a 95-year sentence, while Bhebhe and Joseph each received 125 years for their roles in the crimes.
