By A Correspondent| An opposition legislator Corban Madzivanyika has been taken to task after he took to social media to heap praise on former Citizens Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa.

Madzivanyika said he was solidly behind Chamisa whom he said embodies the hopes and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe.

“I wish to reiterate that l stand firm with President Nelson Chamisa, who embodies the hopes and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe. In the face of adversity, we remain unwavering in our commitment to democracy, justice, and equality. The President’s courage and resilience continue to inspire us to continue fighting for a better future,” said Madzivanyika.

However, social media users did not buy into his praise, ordering him to resign from parliament to show his true allegiance to Chamisa. Below are the comments to Madzivanyika’s post.
