MDC-T Activist Takes Mwonzora Fight To Speaker of Parliament

By A Correspondent| Opposition MDC-T activist Partson Murimoga has taken his fight against party leader Douglas Mwonzora to parliament after submitting a petition to the Speaker Advocate Jacob Mudenda calling for the expulsion of the Manicaland senator.

In his letter, Murimoga said Mwonzora should be expelled in the National Assembly for theft of party funds, money laundering and disregard of anti-corruption laws.

He said he is petitioning parliament to preserve the integrity of of the legislative body.

On my behalf and on behalf of the members of the Movement for Democratic Change T, hereby petition the Parliament of Zimbabwe through you Hon, Mr Speaker Sir to safeguard, promote and preserve the integrity of the country’s legislative body in keeping with its mandate “to make laws for peace, order and good governance of Zimbabwe” you have in the legislature one Douglas Togarasei Mwonzora who should not only be expelled from the August House but arrested for;

  2. Money laundering in violation of Zimbabwe Foreign Currency Exchange Control Act,” said Murimoga.
