By Farai D Hove | An abduction alert was raised Thursday afternoon when an MDC leader was held at gunpoint in the capital city.

Mr Victor Muchavhaira is the MDC Alliance’s MashWest Secretary for Defence. He was nearly abducted at FoodWorld opposite JoinaCity, according to a party report.

The report went on to state that: 2 men forced him to the ground, pointed guns and then dragged him to a white ISUZU.

Citizens scuttled the abduction, the report concluded.
