Response To Mr Zingman’s Lawyer Letter to Zimeye

I refer to the above.

Zimeye is a Zimbabwe media fighting corruption and injustices on behalf of the people of Zimbabwe.

Any article written by Zimeye is to expose scandals negatively affecting our country. It’s aim is to expose these scandals to educate people of Zimbabwe on issues negatively affecting their economy and subsequent welfare.

As you are aware, your client is a business partner of Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa who has committed lots of atrocities with the guns obtained through your client.

Mnangagwa’s forces used guns obtained through your client to shoot and kill unarmed civilians from 2018 to date. Lots of women have been abducted at gun point, sexually assaulted and tortured.

Furthermore, your client was unlawfully gifted massive land through shoddy deals with Emmerson Mnangagwa. His behaviour clearly shows a person who enables an evil dictator, someone who profits from the suffering and impoverishment of Zimbabweans.

With regards to these shoddy deals with Emmerson Mnangagwa and atrocities committed, your client has indirectly caused and worsened the suffering of the people in Zimbabwe. Your client is guilty by association for enabling Mnangagwa to commit the various atrocities affecting the ordinary citizens.

Therefore, on behalf of Zimbabweans, we demand the below-

1. Mr Zingman should give back the land he got from his shoddy deals with Emmerson Munangagwa

2. Compensate all those shot by Mnangagwa’s soldiers

3. Compensate all the women abducted, sexually assaulted and tortured at gun point by Mnangangwa’s CIA

4. Cease all his dealings in Zimbabwe, actually banned from entering Zimbabwe

The above are some of the demands from people of Zimbabwe which your client has to fulfil in order for Zimeye to delete the article about your client.
