By James Gwati-Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivhayo, is yet to start the US$183 million Gwanda Solar project whose tender he got from the government five years ago.

Chivhayo’s case emerged recently when the Zesa management was summoned by parliament to explain the US$250 million Dema power plant which the power utility controversially awarded to President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s business frontman, Kuda Tagwirei.

Chivayo’s Intratrek was given a US$183 million tender to start a Solar Project in Gwanda in 2013 in unclear circumstances.
