Finance minister Professor Mthuli Ncube has appointed five more people to the Monetary Policy Committee, following the resignation of former MDC legislator Eddie Cross.

Sources said Cross was resigning due to fatigue and frustration.

In replacing Cross, Mthuli Ncube appointed Persistence Gwanyanya, Dr Daniel Making, Dr Charity Jinya, Mathilda Dzumbunu and Professor Albert Makochekanwa.
