By James Gwati- President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is the architecture of the infamous 1982 Gukurahundi, on Saturday, angered the Ndebele tribe after he deliberately addressed mourners gathered at the former ZRP Boss, Moses Griffiths Mpofu in English at the National Heroes Acre.

Mpofu’s relatives addressed mourners in Ndebele.

Mnangagwa is the architecture of the early 1980 Gukurahundi endorsed and the massacre of more than 20 000 civilians by armed soldiers in Midlands and Matabeleland provinces.

Mpofu is the former Police Deputy Commissioner. He died on Friday last week and was declared a National Hero and will be buried today at the National Heroes Acre.
