Tinashe Sambiri|The MDC Alliance has challenged Zanu PF leader Emmerson to fire his deputy, Kembo Mohadi.

Mohadi is reportedly involved in sex scandals with married women- including his direct subordinates.

There are recorded clips suggesting Mohadi is taking advantage of his position to abuse women.

We demand accountability for this conduct unbecoming of a person “holding high office.” The allegations raised here are serious especially given the abuse of state offices, state resources and improper use of state time. The fitness and propriety of Mohadi is called into question.

Govt offices are held in trust. There is a duty on the part of those holding these offices to lead with trust. Mohadi’s predatory conduct borders on sexual abuse & the apparent “high power” dynamics vitiate any perceived consent by the women involved.

The pattern of conduct emerging around Mohadi’s conduct at the office is a symptom of deeper governance deficiencies. Citizens deserve leaders with integrity, moral rectitude and who respect the high offices paid for by hard-earned taxpayer money.
