Farai Dziva|Heavily armed police details have barred vendors in Murehwa from conducting their business.

15 vendors were also arrested on Monday for cheerfully greeting President Nelson Chamisa as he was returning from Patson Dzamara’s funeral.

The vendors are being persecuted for merely greeting President Chamisa, it has emerged.

“We have received worrying reports that armed police have besieged the Murehwa vending space with dogs, preventing the
Murewa Vendors from working.

Their daily earnings have been disrupted and they are living in fear.
