By Jane Mlambo| Upcoming musician Sha Sha has become the first Zimbabwean to be nominated and win a BET Award after outshining three other competitors

Sha Sha whose real name is Charmaine Shamiso Mpambiro won the 2020 BET Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act award previously won by Eddy Kenzo, Sho Madjozi, Sjava among other top Africa n stars.

She was nominated alongside Rema from Nigeria, Celeste and Young T & Bugsey from the UK, and Hatik and Sracy from France.

Posting on Twitter after winning the award, Sha Sha said;

What just happened!!! A BET THANK YOU! MY PEOPLE BACK AT HOME ALL ALL OVER THE WORLD MAN
