Own Correspondent|Marry Chiwenga, wife to Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, is reportedly in a “no nonsense approach” as he tackles his husband in what is set to be the dirtiest divorce of Zimbabwean elites in recent history.

The former model is reported to have turned down a request for an out of court settlement on child custody and access to family house made by Chiwenga.

Source close to Marry Chiwenga‘s defence council told media houses on Monday that the estranged wife wants nothing to do with an discussions with Chiwenga except in court.

“Marry is in a no nonsense mood and would want the matter to be settled in court,” said the sources.

“The applicant is the one who brought the issue to the courts so there is no need for it to be settled out of courts

“What has now changed that the applicant feels the issue can be resolved without the courts? He (Chiwenga) was ill-advised and Marry is only playing her part as the respondent.

“Unless something major happens this morning (Monday), Marry has since last Friday indicated to her defence counsel that she will not accept an out of court settlement.”

On Monday afternoon, sources told ZimEye.com that clashed heavily with Vice President Chiwenga’s body guards when she went to see her children at a private school in Harare.
