Paul Nyathi|Zimbabwean social media critics have lampooned President Emmerson Mnangagwa for the way he spoke against sanctions during his address at the National Sports Stadium on Friday.

The critics claimed Mnangagwa did not speak like a President wishing for the removal of the sanctions from a superpower like the United States of America and the European Union.

In a widely circulated clip on social media platforms, Mnangagwa is captured in a humorless moment declaring for the sanctions to go from which one critic compared him to old time Zimbabwean television comedian, Paraffin.
