By Own Correspondent- Self exiled former Zanu Pf cabinet minister Professor Jonathan Moyo has justified the imposition of sanctions on Zimbabwe arguing that a government which kills, tortures, rapes and maims its citizens deserved to be on sanctions.

Moyo said this while responding to an article in the state media on sanctions.

Said Moyo:

“RAMAPHOSA WANTS SANCTIONS GONE”

Ok. But sanctions are as old as humanity. Governments that butcher, torture, maim and rape citizens, as Zimbabwean state agents did in January MUST FACE SANCTIONS. i said this to US Ambassador Dell in 2007!”
