By Own Correspondent- A teacher at Mt Selinda High School in Chipinge sustained serious injuries after he was attacked by an armed robber.

Peter Hluyo, a computers teacher is currently nursing wounds at Chipinge General Hospital after sustaining serious injuries on his head and on both his arms.

He said he was attacked by an armed robber at his residence on Monday.

His friend and fellow teacher, Gerald Makopa however assisted him and took him to the hospital for immediate treatment.

The case has since been reported to the police and Officer Commanding Chipinge District Chief Superintendent Trutworth Makunike said police are already on the ground investigating the case.-StateMedia
