By Own Correspondent| Responding to remarks by political analyst and Advisor to MDC President Nelson Chamisa, Dr Pedzisai Ruhanya who said that dismissed possibility of young people born after independence to support the ruling Zanu PF Party, a President Emmerson Mnangagwa backer John Muchenje torn into the Zimbabwe Democracy Institute Director saying the ruling party has a lot to offer for youths than the popular opposition outfit.

Ruhanya angered Zanu PF supporters when he labeled all youthful people who support Mnangagwa as fools.

“If you are young especially born after 1980 and you support ZANU PF, you are the most foolish person in Africa South of the Sahara,” declared Dr Ruhanya.

However Muchenje hit back defending the Mnangagwa administration which he said has done a lot to attract youth support in the country.

“President Mnangagwa is doing everything under the harsh conditions of the Illegal sanctions imposed on us to bring better fortunes to our generation unlike the opposition which is only pouring sand (Kudira Jecha) in our economy,” said Muchenje.

Muchenje who himself is a farmer spoke highly of the government’s fromcommand Agriculture saying even young people have also benefited rom the controversial scheme rolled out to beef the country’s grain reserves.

“As young people we are benefiting from the inputs of command Agriculture and it is all because of the President and you hear a failed opposition advisors telling us that whoever supports President ED is a fool actually Ruhanya is the biggest fool,”
