UK – Birmingham’s spaghetti road network: design potentially borrowed from Masvingo road design – SEE THE PROOF BELOW

The ZANU PF regime and in particular Gen Constantino Chiwenga, have mocked Nelson Chamisa’s spaghetti road network concept saying it is childish.

Today ZimEye reveals how the UK economy after building spaghetti junction networks has boomed from a paltry $192 bil to $2.624 trillion (2017). UK completed its largest spaghetti junction (in Birmingham) during the cold war in 1973. Had Zimbabwe pursued a Chamisa-scope policy, it could have followed through by building its own earlier as planned in 1959; and the Zimbabwean government picked up from the Rhodesian design (see the 1959 architecture) at the earliest, but they did not.

What do spaghetti road networks do? – they improve the management of traffic and thereby strengthen local industry with predictable deliveries, while lowering risk of loss through inevitable fates such as accidents. An effective transport network system will see insurance companies lowering their costs thereby directly and instantly boosting GDP. – WATCH and follow ZimEye.com today…
