By MHRRH| Matebele Genocide Demonstration Funding Appeal: Support The Campaign for Truth, Justice and Reparations for the Matebele in Zimbabwe. The Matebele Genocide Matters!
The 1893 Mthwakazi Human Rights Restoration Movement (1983 MHRRM) plans to conduct demonstrations against the Zimbabwean government for the genocide this government committed against the Matebele people in 1983 and against on-going oppression of the Matebele people in Zimbabwe. The Demos are planned to take place on the 23rd December 2017 in a number of countries including the United Kingdom. In the UK the Demo is planned to take place at the Zimbabwe Embassy at the Strand from 13:00 hrs to 16:00hrs.
In 1983, the then Government of Robert Gabriel Mugabe unleashed a North Korean trained crack unit called the 5th Brigade of Zimbabwe in Matebeleland. This unit caused a lot of untold suffering in its genocidal forays in our territory and turned Matebeleland into its ethnic killing fields and into its ethnic “rivers of blood”. It also turned Matebeleland into an Auschwitz concentration camp of Africa never witnessed in Southern Africa.
Between 50 000 and 100 000 Matebele people died in this genocide. Millions were driven from their homes to neighbouring countries and to overseas countries. Thousands endured torture and rape of unimaginable proportions. The survivors remain traumatised, enslaved and held hostage in Zimbabwe by the same tyrannical rulers who committed and continue to commit heinous crimes against them.
To this day, this ethnic cleansing Genocide continues unabated under different forms and guises including cultural and linguistic genocide as well as the brazen confiscation of Matebele Land. The Matebele rights and that of others are violated with impunity. The Matebele are not allowed to assembly and exercise their cultural rights. Any form of assembly invites beatings and arrests.
The ring leaders of this genocide were Robert Gabriel Mugabe, the deposed President of Zimbabwe, the current President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who at the time was the State Security Minister, Constatino “Dominic Chinenge” Chiwenga, the current Army General who deposed Mugabe through a Coup D’état, the late Army General Commander, Rex Nhongo Mujuru, Air Force Commander, Perence “Bigboy” Shiri who was the then Commander of the 5th Brigade and now the newly appointed Minister of Agriculture and the former Defence Minister, Sydney Sekeramai among many others. At the time of the genocide, Perence Shiri assumed a godly status and blasphemously nick-named himself “Black Jesus”.
The current president, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who was the then State Security Minister, compared the Matebele, in April 1983, to “cockroaches” that needed to be killed by a now banned insecticide called DDT. The North-Korean trained 5th Brigade killing machine was compared to the DDT insecticide.
At the time of the genocide, the current President, Emmerson Mnangagwa made statements that fuelled the genocide, such as,
“Blessed are they who will follow the path of the Government laws, for their days on earth will be increased. But woe unto those who will choose the path of collaboration with dissidents for we will certainly shorten their stay on earth.’
-MINISTER OF STATE SECURITY EMMERSON MNANGAGWA, 4 APRIL 1983
Driven by fear to protect themselves, the majority of the ring leaders of the genocide have carried a Coup Detat in Zimbabwe and installed the then State Security Minister who was the leading figure in the Genocide campaign against the Matebele, Emmerson Mnangagwa as the President of Zimbabwe.
In the midst of this unfolding dangerous militarization of a government in Zimbabwe by genocidalists, the Matebele voice about this genocide is being drowned out. Our concerns are being ignored by the world. We therefore make this funding appeal to help us get our voice out and be heard.
The Matebele Genocide Matters. Truth, Justice and Reparations for this Genocide matters!

1893 Mthwakazi Human Restoration Movement is a movement that represents a proud Nation of Matebeleland made up of amalgamated tribes and races that have co-existed diversely and peacefully with each other for years.
We are a Movement emerging from a Nation whose collective rights have been grossly trampled upon, severely assaulted and attacked since 1893.
The Movement’s ultimate purpose is to restore the collective social, economic, educational, and cultural, language and territorial rights of the people of Mthwakazi (Matebeleland)
Some Key Dates and events in Matebeleland’s colonization timeline
- February 188: The Fraudulent Moffat Treat of friendship with Britain signed with King Lobhengula by Johan Moffat, a colonial agent of Cecil John Rhodes, at the instigation of the deceptive and colonial crook Cecil John Rhodes. This treaty was deceptively signed with the full understanding and recognition that King Lobengula was the legal and executive authority over the Matebeleland Kingdom.
- October 1888: The Fraudulent Rudd Concession for exclusive mining rights for Rhodes and his colonial cronies was deceptively obtained by Charles Rudd; another colonial agent of Cecil John Rhodes. This treaty was once more a deceptive one signed however with the full understanding and recognition that King Lobengula was the legal and executive authority over the Matebeleland Kingdom.
- October 1893 to January 1894 Matebeleland Kingdom was invaded by Rhodes leading to one of the greatest wars ever fought in Southern Africa. The war is referred to as the First Matebele War. Impi YoMvukela Yakuqala.
- July 1894: The 1894 Matabeleland Order in Council and its successor legal instrument that is The 1898 Matabeleland Order in Council defined the administrative power of the British South Africa Company (BSAC) over Matabeleland and Mashonaland leading to the unification of two Nations to form Rhodesia in 1894 and Southern Rhodesia in 1898. The Matebeleland Order in Councils were sanctioned with the consent of the British Crown.

3.but ,the cowardly shonas did turn the fucking tables around on the mighty Ndebeles and fucked them silly.that was between 1982-87 ..now the mighty Ndebeles are whimpering and scattered.
Why didn’t the mighty Ndebeles fight the shonas in 1982-87?
I have no time for your idiocity.Idiot!
Do you really want me to to explain?
Hahahaha, another big mouth no brainer .
No ,truth, what I’m saying is these level or type of kindergarten insults have no effect on me.
Who is more insulting than Doc?, I’m as sadistic and mean as they come, but I do it with class .Just look at your Ndebele loser of a brother…he is spitting everywhere.. Mthwakazi,Shona, cowardice.he is too desperate to insult it actually doesnt work.
If you hadn’t noticed I love this arguing I live for it.Now ,for your Ndebele ignorant self ,I can forgive you ( Ndebeles have always been ignorant) ,to now say it’s talking it’s toll is laughable..I live for this shit.
Im just not getting any new persons to challenge me.Why do people know Doc?.
Isn’t Because they know me as the Ndebele breaker, the butcher of matebeleland loud mouths……
Now that’s the TRUTH!.
If insults have no effect as you always claim, why are you always complaining about them? It seems you are the only one who always takes this line of argument –
its meaningless wena; stop lying. They are really taking a toll on your sanity. Thats the TRUTH!!
Dont know where you live Mr Eye Spy but u completely out of topic. Its not only colonialists who are responsible for violence in Africa.
Furthermore the land issue is out of question.
This genocide was about political power that Zimbabweans understand very well. And the causes.Dont think Africans only fight at the behest of the white man. We have greedy African leaders who kill their own to remain in power. So since they are still alive and known the cry is to have them to answer to those charges of genocide.
You are a Shona – explain why your ancestors never fought the White Colonialists who flew their flag at the Salisbury Kopjie – where were they?
Mthwakazi is a separate country to Mashonaland.
Shona people sold their Mashonaland to White Colonialists when they allowed them to settle on their land; and even allowed them to fly their flag on the Salisbury Kopjie to mark their new Capital City.
Shonas did nothing – never put up a fight at all. They are just obsessed with our country instead of dealing with their cowardice viz the white Colonialists!!!
Why are these nutjobs always throwing around insults.
Guys guys , insults are just insults .They won’t bring you a step further towards your goals ..I didn’t even finish the article.
It’s like a 10 year old wrote this crap ..just full of bile and hate and swearing and anger .
Slow down people.and focus on what you want to say . Without necessarily spitting all over the place

Reading the list of wrongs done to the Matabelel it would behove these Africans to go after the colonialists rather than Zimbabweans. The problem with you African people you go after your own at the behest of foreign powers. Considering the western world are in collusion to genocide Africans and take the land, this movement totally plays into the hands of Africa’s enemies
African peoples are ‘woke’ and if you are a threat to Africa you will be dealt with.
