Mnangagwa’s Successor Revealed? Who’s Ngwena’s Deputy?

By Farai D Hove| Eyebrows were yesterday all over the place over President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s shocking delay in appointing a deputy. Mnangagwa who revealed his full cabinet Thursday night, left the position of Vice President’s open, what led to an explosion of rumours on what is to happen hereafter.

Mnangagwa was as a result mocked by his nemesis, Professor Jonathan Moyo.

-We’re stuck with Mnangagwa and Mugabe for a total 52 years

President Emmerson Mnangagwa who is currently 75 years old is set for the Presidency. Mnangagwa will be 76 if he is re-elected next year. This means Mnangagwa will be President until he is 86 years old(two terms). But he will most likely extend into a 3rd term, meaning Mnangagwa will be 91 years old when he becomes due retirement. This means Zimbabweans will be stuck with a Mnangagwa Presidency for another 16 years from today, a total 52 years under two people: Mugabe and Mnangagwa. These issues were part of a discussion last month with leading academic, Nkululeko Sibanda, and analyst Wilbert Mukori. FULL DISCUSSION BELOW:

  3. He is a friend of Moyo and was promised a job if G40 were to come into power and thus you can’t expect anything positive from that fake academic

    When Mnangagwa escaped and out of the country and promised to come back in a few weeks, Sibanda said, “This is the end of Mnangagwa. He will never come back. This is the end of Lacoste. You have to be a fool….bla bla”.

    In his next “Analysis” he said “You have to be a fool to believe that Chiwenga (whom Sibanda repeatedly mistakenly calls “Chivengwa”) will stage a coup. Chivengwa is a coward!”
    When the Generals sat to announce the beginning of Operation Restore Legacy he was saying “They won’t do a thing. Where is Shiri. Shiri is not there! It’s nothing. Chiwenga has no Support of all the security command.” And even when the tanks were moving into Harare, he was saying, “No. The tanks are just going to a camp. Did you not see that one tank was tied to the other. It was defect and just being pulled to go for repair.”
    When the Military surrounded ZBC he was saying “The Military is always at the ZBC for security reasons. If it was be a coup, the army would secure other places like the Parlament Building, Airport….bla bla. It’s nothing”.
    What a waste of time! What a fake “Analyst”! What an arrogant and fake academic!
