#ThisFlag pastor Evan Mawarire is on his way back to Zimbabwe.
Mawarire who left the country shortly after his release on Wednesday night, is traveling back home to continue his civic campaign to bring government to account so the state fixes itself on its treatment of civilians.
The Leeds (UK) based Pastor Antony Tembo confirmed to ZimEye.com of Mawarire’s usual international itinerary to the US and UK. Tembo is holding a special prayer meeting for Mawarire and the nation at large on Sunday. 
Mawarire made the announcement last night, Friday. He said he only traveled to the unnamed destination for a pre-planned church program schedule.
“I have traveled to attend to a previously arranged engagement outside the country and will be back home…,” said Pastor Mawarire. His full statement read: “fellow Citizens thank you for your concern for my safety and whereabouts. I am well and safe taking some time to recuperate.
“Unfortunately I have been unable to communicate via my phone as usual because the Police are still in possession of my phone.
“I am also reliably informed that groups of men have been apparently looking for me at my home and office. Currently I have traveled to attend to a previously arranged engagement outside the country and will be back home to my family and work soon. #ThisFlag and indeed all the other significant movements in Zimbabwe are not about one person. Take ownership of this work. I take my hat off for all your amazing efforts in building a better Zimbabwe. We will never be silenced. This Pastor is a ZANU PF project meant to split the opposition into few gangs. Now all those MDCT supporters are running behind the Pastor. The authorities create such people in order so that people comments and come out in the streets.
That’s when the authorities get people arrested and beat up people and instil fear in to the masses.
All they do is to silence the people.

Soft Stone please. Direct your anger at issues that are real. Pastor Mawarire is genuine. For progress and nation building let us avoid being suspicious every time something happens. That destroys the collectivism that we have established as a nation which the majority of the opposition parties have delayed coordinating. It is our struggle and we need each other. Pastor Mawarire went through a lot and he needs that break but we must not leave him alone. We have to move on because if we leave it to him alone our struggle will not yield any positive results. It is you and me that have to work together to move forward. The people who can liberate Zimbabweans are Zimbabweans alone not anyone else. We only have moral support from like minded few individuals around the globe not from any political movements in Southern Africa. Progressive Zimbabweans across the globe are trying their best to mount pressure on this regime to call it quits. This is not the time to suspect, point fingers or adopt a wait and see attitude. In a battle zone when the heat gets too much you need to retreat and restrategise. Pastor is doing that. As a Christian he has to go for retreat for spiritual empowerment. IWE NENI TINEBASA.
