Zimbabwe Embassy in London is facing difficult times ahead as operations are likely to be disrupted by Zimbabwean activists demanding the release of Itai Dzamara.
On Thursday a group of Zimbabweans led by William Chinyanga stormed the Embassy demanding the release of Itai Dzamara who was abducted in Harare by men believed to be State agents from the notorious CIO. It is believed the abduction was engineered by the State to dare the opposition parties into open street protests and then use those unsanctioned demonstration as an excuse to arrest the opposition party leaders and activist.
The government is currently facing acute liquidity and economic challenges and is said to be looking for ways to divert attention from its failure to manage the collapsing economy.
ZimEye.com is reliably informed another protest group is preparing to storm the Embassy next week.
Further protests are said to be planned that would force the Embassy to completely close down An activist told ZimEye.com that they would be engaging all other European countries to shut down Zimbabwe embassies within tbeir reach.
