Sheffield(ZimEye)-Zimbabwean Deputy Prime Minister and former head of the MDC party, the contention ridden professor Arthur Mutambara, has addressed a paltry 15 rallies in his whole lifetime.
Information coming out the party reveals that Mutambara who claims to be better than US President Barak Obama, has only addressed 15 rallies in five(5) whole years since he was elected leader in 2005.
Mutambara throughout his 5 year term only addressed 15 rallies, and that equates to an average of 3 rallies per year.
Welshman Ncube in just one year, has already addressed 34 rallies”, senior party officials Miriam Mushayi and Langelihle Khoza told ZimEye on Thursday.
The officials revealed that Welshman Ncube on the other hand, who is credited for reaching out for grass root local support than a display of pride, will by Friday (today) have reached his 35th rally in 2011 alone.
A disgraced Mutambara, who is currently fighting Welshman Ncube in the courts, is also out of favour with the rest of Zimbabweans including journalists, local politicians, and foreigners, for the manner in which he flashes his academic credentials in order to solve difficult arguments.(ZimEye, Zimbabwe)

@Kuboni, go ahead and be as deep Ndebele as you like. In the process you can deliberately assimilate the Kalanga just to boost your numbers against the Shona. It’s all futile though. I was just trying to tell you that the two of us can sit in a lecture theater, speaking different languages, study the same course and still come out as ‘Zimbabweans’ not ‘a Ndebele and a Shangaan’. You might need to revisit your definition of “tribe” because that word is fast becoming archaic; even your passport application form has removed the TRIBE section. Culture is just but an integrated pattern of human knowledge, belief and behavior, which depends upon the capacity for symbolic thought and social learning. This can’t be too different between the Ndebele and the Shona. We’re now talking about a Zimbabwean culture. Go to South Africa today and you will realize that we’re coming up to Southern African culture. Am disappointed you don’t tolerate colored or people of mixed descent. Fortunately for you I am not in the mood for dirty language to attack in revenge for attacking my identity. But I can do it. My point is don’t belabor yourself with futile attempts to elevate Ndebele (the language) to lofty heights it doesn’t deserve in Zimbabwe. If ever there is anything like a Ndebele tribe, it is just as minor as those Shona constituents I talked about in my earlier posts. You’re not superior to me or the Shangaan. Caution: don’t even claim to know about your descent more than your father or mother – you could be Shangaan as I am – and I will laugh the loudest at last. Reason I said let’s not disintegrate Zim on frivolous grounds like Ndebele this Ndebele that. Clicking the tongue as you talk does not make you better than me, or better deserving to be Zimbabwean than me.As a warning, remember that what you call Ndebele is a coalescence of minority dialects that will also desire to be independently and vehemently recognized later. @ P. Kuboni I get your reasoning. In the final analysis are you saying UNITY in Zimbabwe is impossible simply because each man/woman has to speak their language? I strongly feel the Ndebeles and the Shonas should unite as one people. Why are we fighting about ethnicity? If you are in modern Zimbabwe, you should know there are no more tribes. That was for Tshaka Zulu, Nehanda, Nyatsimba Mutota, Lobengula, etc. – not a schooled person like you who can travel from Harare to Byo in just under 2 hours; who can’t fail to find hospitality if you went to Chiredzi, Mt. Darwin or Chipinge. The DRC has over 400 dialects, yet they managed to give Joseph Kabila a significant vote for presidency.
You ought to know that Shona is used by Zimbabweans more because of demography? If we have 5 Shonas and 2 Ndebeles what do you expect? Welshman addrresses his rallies in pathetic Shona because that only logical. He can’t be foolish to talk to himself (soliloquy). This is the reason you try your best English when in London. Does that make sense? People are overloading the otherwise straightforward Ndebele language, e.g. by saying it must be taught in all primary schools blah blah. For what/ What is more special about Ndebele than my Shangaan? What is Shona anyway? It’s a bastardized language that incorporates Chewa, Karanga, Ndau, Manyika, Zezuru, Korekore. An appropriate acronym for that language is CHIKANDAMAZEKO. The Ndau person you label as Shona is not – he is just a person making an effort to fit into a mainstream language to ease communication. The Ndebele should also make that effort. Let’s bastardize Shona further and come up with Ndebe-Shona or Shondebele, whatever you like. This should never get in the way of national unity though.
Before I go, do you really we are a different people just on the basis of language, especially if we can have a “bridge” language to communicate? What would you do if you lived in Portugal, Spain or the Netherlands? You would want everybody to address you in SiNdebele because you are there? No, no, no Kuboni. Remember the official stats – Shona (76%), Ndebele (18%), others (6%). Some sources have Shona (85%) and Ndebele (15%). Never mind S.A. – they have enough of their Zulu-Xhosa-Sotho problem to inherit a language conflict up north of the Limpompo. Some have said they want the Ndebele to break away because they will be backed by the South Africans. That’s suicidal – first remove ANC from power.
You can only feel sorry for us Shangani who have Ndebele wives, Shona mothers and Xhosa in-laws. Lastly, Zimbabwe is one. Let’s be un-tribal!! I thank you.

Mutambara would have served himself and the country better by seeking employment in a career or profession which requires a high profile CV. His logical fallacy is that he thinks that a CV like his equates to votes in his favour. Unfortunately for poor Arthur the ordinary voter is far more concerned about mundane everyday issues essential for survival and trusts those in touch with the Zimbabwean citizens and the reality on the ground. The era of blindly following academic elites like a bunch of lost sheep in now past in this country.
